Security levels :

1. P-1 : Basic security for non-sensitive information. Documents are reduced to strips of ≤ 12mm (½ inch) wide, and can be easily reconstructed.
2. P-2 : Low security for internal documents. Strips are narrower, ≤ 6mm (¼ inch) wide, but reconstruction is still possible with some effort.
3. P-3 : Medium security for sensitive and confidential personal data. Shredders produce very narrow strips (≤ 2mm) or small cross-cut particles (max 320 mm²).
4. P-4 : High security for sensitive personal and corporate information. Documents are cross-cut into particles (≤ 160 mm²), making reconstruction difficult.
5. P-5 : High security for confidential information. Particles are very small, ≤ 30 mm² with a width of ≤ 2mm.
6. P-6 : Maximum security for top-secret documents. Particles are tiny, ≤ 10 mm² with a width of ≤ 1mm.
7. P-7 : Highest security level. For strictly confidential information, particles are ≤ 5 mm² with a width of ≤ 1mm.
